Zheng Gang graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Science Intensive Program at Nanjing University's Kuang Yaming College. He currently serves as Vice President of the Jiangsu Province New Social Strata Association, Vice President of the Jiangsu Charity Federation, Executive Vice President of the Nanjing New Social Strata Association, and an honorary trustee of Nanjing University. He is also a member of the National Youth Federation, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Youth Federation, and the Chairman of Nanjing Nanbowan Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. In 2021, he donated 5 million RMB to the Nanjing University Education Development Foundation to establish the Zheng Gang Fund.
