Li Yongxin is the Vice President of China Association for Private Education and Chairman of Beijing Zhonggong Education Technology Co. He graduated from the Department of Political Science and Administration of Peking University (now the School of Government and Management of Peking University) in 1999. The largest donation in FY2021 gave ¥1 billion to the Zhonggong Education Development Foundation of Peking University. It is used to comprehensively support the development of Peking University in all aspects of discipline construction, teaching and research, faculty and talent training. This is the largest individual gift and the largest alumni gift since the founding of Peking University.
