"""Since its founding in 1949, The Chinese Academy of Sciences has fulfilled multiple roles — as a national team and a locomotive driving national technological innovation, a pioneer in supporting nationwide science and technology (S&T) development, a think tank delivering S&T advice and a community for training young S&T talent. In 2019, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and its holding companies and research institutes donated a total of 178 million RMB to the University of Science and Technology of China to support the training and introduction of young talents. At the same time, they donated 120 million RMB to the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish the ""National Science Talent Introduction Fund,"" ""National Science Teacher Development Fund,"" and ""National Science Holding Student Development Fund,"" supporting the construction and development of various disciplines in the university."
